T1 dropped a map against LCK bottom-feeders Fredit BRION (2-1) on Saturday, which looks terrible on paper, but we have to acknowledge that BRO look to be in much better spirits since picking up their first win. Fredit BRION also have nothing to lose, making them a tough opponent to prepare for.
KT Rolster are very similar in how they approach their games. They’re very unpredictable, explosive, and tend to produce chaotic games. But even though you must be brave to bet on KT Rolster, they have delivered for the most part. As unconvincing as their record looks (4-8), KT Rolster have consistently exceeded market expectations this split, and there is a reasonable chance they might claw their way into the top four by the end of LCK 2022 Summer.
T1 are still a much better team, but they are already locked in for the postseason (11-1) and they’re no longer chasing the perfect record, so perhaps we could see them test out a few things in preparation for the playoffs. This is a game where you hold your nose and take the outsiders.
KT Rolster to win

DWG KIA are 8-4 and, interestingly, two of those defeats came against DRX, who beat them (2-1) last Friday. We wouldn’t say DRX are stronger than DWG KIA, who have dominated everything in their path since their Week 4 defeat, but it seems like DRX are just their kryptonite.
Knowing that, we wouldn’t overplay DWG KIA’s defeat since it doesn’t mean anything, and it doesn’t suggest that DWG KIA are any more vulnerable than they were in Week 4 when they rolled over Hanwha Life Esports.
Betting on Hanwha Life Esports in the position they’re currently in is very unappealing, mainly because they have not shown anything that would inspire confidence. Moreover, with Fredit BRION’s rise, HLE might also be the weakest team in the league.
Admittedly, they took a map from T1 two weeks ago, but that is their only notable achievement of the year, which says a lot. Expect a swift series, with DWG KIA rolling over Hanwha Life like they did at the start of the month.
