Infamous Gaming unveil a new 2025 Dota 2 roster featuring sl4d1n- & lalatronii’s return. The rebuild follows a tough run in qualifiers.
Peruvian Dota 2 team Infamous Gaming have revealed a new roster featuring five new players, including two
returning members who got cut from the team in the last rebuild.
The unexpected roster change was announced on Saturday, confirming the departure of Marcelo “S1RENM”
Heredia, Michael “DCMC” Rufino, Nicolás “Hermit” Flores, Maykol “MonHty” Ramos, and Jimmy “JimmyCoff666”
Cardenas.
To fill in the gaps, Infamous signed Gerardo Jeanpier “JP” Torres Chavez, Jordan “TakeCareMia” Huaman, Jose
“CHAAANNN” Diaz, and two returning faces in Alexis “sl4d1n-” Sitl and Juan “lalatronii” Rosales.
Sl4d1n and lalatronii were a part of the Infamous 2024 lineup, which was released in August to make room for
five new arrivals.
That iteration did not accomplish much last season; however, even Infamous’ 2025 lineup failed to reach for the
stars.
Since the start of the year, Infamous have failed to qualify for a single tournament and have not found much
success in the seven qualifier events attended.
Infamous’ most notable accomplishments included securing tickets for PGL Wallachia Season 3 and ESL One
Raleigh 2025 closed qualifiers.
The South American outfit finished both in fifth-sixth place, without a tournament ticket in their pocket.
With a new mix of experienced and rookie players, Infamous will hope they can bounce back and re-emerge as
one of South America’s top Dota 2 teams.
Despite their struggles over the last two seasons, Infamous Gaming remain a big name in the South American
Dota 2 scene with their performance at The International 2019, when they finished in seventh-eighth place – to
date, the best placement from a team from the region.
Infamous debuted their new roster at ULD Epi2: Americas on Saturday, when they defeated Red Submarine 2-0 in
the first round of the group stage.
