Team Vitality bolstered their League of Legends roster for the 2026 season on Saturday, December 13, with the signing of mid laner Marek “Humanoid” Brázda.

The Czech mid laner joins Team Vitality as a replacement for Mateusz “Czajek” Czajka, who is set to leave the squad after a one-year service.

The signing ends the speculations of whether Vitality will sign Yoon “Poby” Sung-won or Humanoid, with both ex-Fnatic mid laners being considered as starting mid laners for the next season.

Ultimately, Vitality decided to put their trust in the veteran player, who will reunite with his compatriot and former teammate, ADC Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság.

By joining Team Vitality, Humanoid will continue his career in the EMEA Championship (LEC) after being benched by Fnatic following the LEC Spring split.

The benching ended Humanoid’s three-and-a-half-year-long stint with the Black & Orange. The mid laner joined Fnatic in January 2022 as a replacement for Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer and has kept his spot on the starting roster until September.

Throughout his stint, Humanoid has helped Fnatic win four LEC silver medals and qualify for the LoL World Championship three times. However, he was let go after Fnatic’s disappointing fourth-place finish in LEC Spring, which saw the European titans miss out on the Mid-Season Invitational and the Esports World Cup.

Fnatic replaced Humanoid with Poby, with whom they successfully qualified for LoL Worlds, but again failed to leave a mark, suffering an early elimination from the group stage.

By finding a new home at Team Vitality, Humanoid will return to the Tier-1 scene for the eight-year running.

In Team Vitality, Humanoid will link up top laner Kaan “Naak Nako” Okan, jungler Linas “Lyncas” Nauncikas, and Carzzy, with whom he won back-to-back LEC titles in 2021 as a part of MAD Lions. Vitality have yet to reveal their support player for the next season.

Humanoid is expected to debut for Vitality at LEC 2026 Versus, scheduled to kick off on January 1.
