GodLike Esports has gone into a partnership with an esports fan engagement startup STAN in a bid to enhance its fan engagement.
Fans of the Indian esports organization can look forward to receiving non-NFT digital collectibles from STAN. As per the partnership, both parties intend to work together on a variety of activations and fan experiences.
Being one of the most well-known and successful esports organizations in India, GodLike Esports has rosters for various esports titles, including Battlegrounds Mobile India, Call of Duty Mobile, and Valorant. In addition to having esports teams, GodLike Esports also owns GodLike Bootcamp, which is the largest gaming and esports facility in India.
STAN’s Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Nauman Mulla, made the following statement regarding the partnership.
“Entering into a strategic partnership with the biggest organization in India, GodLike Esports, was a no-brainer for us at STAN, as want to give access to all the GodLike superfans, all of that STAN is offering,” Mulla said. “We aim to work with all the major stakeholders in this esports ecosystem, which is why we are very excited about this partnership.”
Numen Esports And Gaming, a new talent management and content agency based in India played a pivotal role in facilitating the partnership. The partnership between GodLike and STAN is the first one of its kind to be brokered by Numen, with GodLike being the first major esports organization to sign with the brand.
Among its notable partnerships include the team up with the Hong Kong-based esports organization Nova Esports in 2020 in order to jointly field a PUBG Mobile team. However, the team was subsequently disbanded after PUBG Mobile was banned in India later that year. Earlier this year, the organization entered into a partnership with the streaming platform Rooter in order to provide fans with exclusive content that could only be accessed through the platform.
In a press release, GodLike Esports and STAN stated that the primary objective of the partnership is to “build an ecosystem for fans to connect with the team.” In addition to providing services that will be of interest to the community that GodLike Esports has amassed. The two organizations did not make any disclosures about the partnership’s financial particulars.
