The Fortnite Champion Series will feature a new Major structure, a $10,000,000 prize pool and a Global Championship in-person event in 2024. The FNCS will run throughout the year, with the first FNCS Major starting on February 2 and the Last Chance Major ending in late August before all of the qualifiers and participants make their way to Copenhagen, Denmark in late 2024 for the Global Championship. What is the Fortnite Champion Series?
The Fortnite Champion Series is the international professional competitive tournament for the battle royale game, Fortnite, which is organised and run by the game developer, Epic Games. With three Majors and a Last Chance Major setting up as qualifiers for the Global Championship in Denmark later in the year, the FNCS shapes as one of the most important events on the 2024 esports calendar.
The FNCS will feature three Major events with FNCS Major One (February 2 – March 5), the FNCS Major 2 (April 13 – May 14 ), and the FNCS Major Three (July 20 to August 20).
The Last Chance Major will be the final chance to qualify for the Fortnite Global Championship, with the event running from August 24 – 27.

Fortnite Champion Series Structure and Qualifiers
The Fortnite Champion Series will feature three Major tournaments, a Last Chance Major and a Global Championship, with the total prize money adding up to USD$10,000,000.
Throughout the weekly competition stage of every Major, every duo that competes will be awarded Series Points based on their performance and results from that week, with the top 40 duos progressing to the Major Grand Finals. The duos that place 41st to 90th on the Series Leaderboard after the weekly competition will compete in the Major Surge Week. Surge Week will feature five matches, with the five winners of those matches and the top five performing teams across those matches will earn the last 10 places in the Major Grand Finals.
