The second week of the 2025 Esports World Cup will head into Championship Weekend, following a big day of action on Friday. A champion will be crowned in each of the Dota 2, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Free Fire EWC events across Saturday and Sunday.

After witnessing AG.AL and G2 Esports win their way into the semifinals at the League of Legends Esports World Cup, T1, KOI, Gen.G Esports, and FlyQuest got their chance to earn a semifinal spot on Friday.
Following their win in the quarters, Gen.G will clash with G2 Esports before AG.AL and T1 lock horns for the second time in as many weeks after their epic five-map series at LoL MSI 2025.
Playoffs – Quarterfinals
The grand final for the Dota 2 Esports World Cup is now known, after Team Falcons and Team Spirit won their way through to the event’s final series. Even though they lost their semifinal clashes on Friday, PARIVISION and Tundra Esports will clash in the third-place decider.
Semifinal results
The fourth day of Group Stage play at the Honor of Kings Esports World Cup saw two more squads advance to the Group Kings and another two eliminated from the tournament.
Nova Esports and OG joined the Group Kings, while A.C.T. Esports Club and Kagendra were sent packing.

Two best-of-five semifinal series were featured on Friday at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational, as Gaimin Gladiators clashed with Terror Queens before Team Vitality and Team Liquid met in the second semi.
After claiming dominant wins, Gaimin Gladiators and Team Vitality secured their spot in the best-of-seven grand final series, while Terror Queens and Team Liquid will battle for third place.
Playoffs – Semifinals
The third day of action in the Knockout Stage at the Free Fire Esports World Cup featured Groups A and C clashing in six matches. Following the final day, the top 12 squads that qualified for Point Rush and the Grand Finals were known. You can find those teams in the overall standings below.
