Day two of the second week at the Esports World Cup featured five titles, as League of Legends, Dota 2 and Free Fire joined Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on Wednesday.

LoL Esports World Cup Day One Group Stage results

The first day of the Dota 2 Esports World Cup playoffs featured two best-of-three quarterfinal series. Team Spirit clashed with Gaimin Gladiators before Aurora Gaming faced PARIVISION.

On Thursday, BetBoom Team and Tundra Esports will meet before Team Liquid clash with Team Falcons in the last two quarterfinals.

Spirit & PARIVISION claim Dota 2 EWC Playoff wins

Following the opening day of action at the Honor of Kings Esports World Cup Groups C and D played their opening matches on Wednesday. Eight teams competed in best-of-three series, with the winners earning a spot in the upper bracket final while the losers were set to battle in the lower bracket.

Day 2 results

Group C

  • Nova Esports defeated Twisted Minds 2-0
  • Black Shrew Esport defeated Kagendra 2-0

Group D

  • Alpha Gaming defeated A.C.T. Esports Club 2-1
  • OG defeated Nongshim RedForce 2-0

On the second day of play at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational, each advancement and elimination game was played in the four groups.

Team Vitality, Team Liquid, Natus Vincere PH and ONIC Pertiwi advanced to the playoffs, while Waoa GG Esports, Tidal Legends Gaming, CFU Serendipity and Rising Rage were sent packing.

Group A

  • Elimination match: Twisted Minds Orchid defeated Waow GG Esports 2-0
  • Advancement match: Team Vitality defeated Falcons Vega MENA 2-0

Group B

  • Elimination match: Gaimin Gladiators defeated Tidal Legends Gaming 2-1
  • Advancement match: Team Liquid defeated Natus Vincere MY 2-1

Group C

  • Elimination match: Virtus.pro Fe defeated CFU Serendipity 2-0
  • Advancement match: Natus Vincere PH defeated Terror Queens 2-1

Group D

  • Elimination match: DreamMax Girls defeated Rising Rage 2-1
  • Advancement match: ONIC Pertiwi defeated FUT Esports 2-0

The Free Fire Esports World Cup kicked off on Wednesday, with six matches between Groups A and B. From those matches, Team Falcons sits atop the standings with 98 points after claiming two BOOYAHs and three top-four finishes.
