Rainbow Six Siege has been part of Gamers8 since the inaugural edition of the Saudi-run festival, and it will return under the Esports World Cup banner in 2025. The 16 teams will have to qualify through the regional closed qualifiers in Brazil, North America, Europe, LATAM, Asia, South Korea, Japan, Oceania and MENA to compete in the event.

Dota 2

The Dota 2 Esports World Cup will feature in the Esports World Cup with a massive US$3 million prize pool, with the event taking place from July 8-19. The top eight teams on the EPT Leaderboard received direct invites to the group stage, while the other eight teams had to earn their way into the event through regional qualifiers.

EA Sports FC 25

Following the change over from FIFA to EA Sports FC, the Esports World Cup has kept much-loved soccer game in its pool of tournaments. Although there were two different tournaments that ran during the Gamers8 festival, there will only be one at the Esports World Cup, with 32 players taking their place in the four-day long event.

StarCraft 2

Another legendary esports title that made its debut at the 2023 Gamers8 festival was StarCraft 2, and it will return at the Esports World Cup after a successful maiden event last year. In total, 18 players will compete in the 1v1 US$700,000 Starcraft II Esports World Cup tournament, which will take place from July 22-25.

PUBG

PUBG will return to Riyadh at the Esports World Cup, with the top 24 PUBG teams from all over the world competing in the five-day tournament from August 12–16. The teams will battle it out for a share in the US$1 million prize pool, but more importantly, the PUBG Global Series Points to try and qualify for the 2025 PUBG Global Championship later in the year.

PUBG Mobile

The PUBG Mobile World Cup will remain one of the biggest mobile tournaments of it’s time, offering $3 million in prize money at the 2025 Esports World Cup. The top 24 PUBG mobile teams from all over the world will make their way to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to compete in the 10-day event from July 25–August 3.

Counter-Strike 2

Counter-Strike 2 was one of the new additions to the Gamers8 festival in 2023, and it will return to the Esports World Cup in 2025, with a 16-team and five-day tournament kicking off on August 20. Top CS2 teams from all over the world will take their place in Riyadh, and they will be battling it out for their own share in the $1.25 million prize pool.

Rocket League

Rocket League has featured at every Gamers8 festival since the inaugural year in 2022, and the game will return under the Esports World Cup banner in 2025. The four-day-long event is scheduled to run from August 14-17.

Apex Legends will make its debut in Saudi Arabia and take its place in the Esports World Cup. The top 40 Apex Legends teams will compete in the five-day event with a massive US$2 million prize pool up for grabs.

Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 will return for its second year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the Blizzard Entertainment title was not invited to take place in the Gamers8 festival in the previous two years. 16 of the world’s best Overwatch 2 teams will take their place in the US$1 million tournament.

Call of Duty will returns for its second year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the second edition of the Esports World Cup, with 16 of the best Call of Duty teams set to take their place in the four-day tournament. Honor of Kings

Honor of Kings will feature at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the second time. The Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason event will begin on July 15 and run through July 26, where the world’s best 18 Honor of Kings teams will compete in the US$3 million tournament.

VALORANT

VALORANT will make its debut in Saudi Arabia and take its place in the Esports World Cup in 2025. The top 16 VALORANT teams will compete in the event from July 8-13, with a massive US$1.25 million prize pool up for grabs.

Rennsport

Rennsport will be another of the titles making its debut at the Esports World Cup in 2025. Nine of the world’s top sim racing teams will compete in the US$500,000 event. The Rennsports Esports World Cup will run from July 8-11.

The Crossfire Esports World Cup will be one of the final events to take place in Riyadh, as it will run from August 19-23. The top 16 teams will compete for the massive US$2 million prize pool.

Tekken 8

Following its debut at the Esports World Cup in 2024, Tekken 8 will return in 2025. The Tekken 8 Esports World Cup will run from August 13-16, when 32 of the best fighters will compete for the US$1 million prize pool.
