The Intel Extreme Masters, which is a yearly tournament organized by ESL, is one of the biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive events globally. The 2023 iteration is already scheduled to take place in Katowice, Poland, with 24 teams competing against each for the IEM title and a prize pool of $1 million to be shared among teams at the top spot of the event.
Currently, the 2023 IEM timetable already has eight CS:GO teams that have qualified for the main tournament; the rest of the teams will try to qualify for the main event in the play-ins, which are scheduled to be held on February 1st.
