The final week of Call of Duty (CDL) 2025 Major 3 Qualifiers kicks off on Friday, April 18, when Toronto Ultra face off against the surging Miami Heretics, Boston Breach take on Cloud9 New York, and Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 clash with Los Angeles Thieves. Miami Heretics have gained serious momentum with victories against Vegas Falcons, Atlanta FaZe, and OpTic Texas to go top of the CDL 2025 Major 3 Qualifiers standings. Toronto Ultra have not done too poorly either, with two wins against Los Angeles Thieves and Atlanta FaZe.

Ultra’s only loss of the stage came against Boston Breach, which was a complete fluke, so it is fair to say they’ve shown just as much as Heretics ahead of the final week of the online stage.

Despite going 3-0, Miami Heretics are priced as underdogs with the top Call of Duty betting sites. Ultra have the higher ceiling, but considering the improvement Heretics have shown across all three game modes, they should be able to keep this game close.

After losing their first two games of the qualifiers against OpTic Texas and Los Angeles Thieves, Cloud9 New York picked themselves up with a game-five victory over Minnesota RØKKR. Boston Breach have managed two wins, against Toronto Ultra and Los Angeles Guerrillas M8, but were outperformed by RØKKR on the second Search & Destroy.

As the latest CDL betting odds suggest, this should be a competitive game. Cloud9 New York have shown higher highs this season, but they’ve not been very consistent and only recently broke their four-game losing streak.

However, C9NY have a deeper map pool and better win rates on Search & Destroy (55.6%) and Control (53.3%). They’ve also had to endure a tough schedule, so the New Yorkers are the play at pick ’em odds.

Los Angeles Thieves started the stage with two convincing victories against Vancouver Surge and Cloud9 New York but slipped against Toronto Ultra last week. That was only their third defeat over the last 18 matches, with two of those coming against Toronto.

Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 have been one of the worst-performing teams in the CDL since the start, and their 0-3 record ahead of this match does not inspire confidence. They’ve not looked good in any game mode this stage, nor for most of CDL 2025 Stage 2.

LA Thieves will be hungry to bounce back after their Week 2 defeat, and LAGM are the perfect opponent for the Thieves to get their confidence back.
