On Sunday, CAG Osaka won the Six Invitational 2025 – Asia Pacific Finals and became the second Japanese Rainbow Six Siege team to secure their tickets to Boston, Massachusetts.
The Cyclops’ local rivals, SCARZ, already locked in their spot at Six Invitational 2025 through the Global Standings, whereas Reon “Anitun” Sakai and co. had to take the long route to the world championship.
Ranked 18th on the global standings, CAG Osaka started their quest for a Six Invitational invite in the Asia Pacific: Japan Closed Qualifier, where they outshined their opponents with a streak of four 2-0 sweeps against SPLENDID GAMING, BLUE BEES, and twice against KINOTROPE gaming.
With that, CAG Osaka earned their spot in the last-chance qualifier for the Asia-Pacific region, where they faced off against FEARX, Dire Wolves, and Chiefs Esports Club.
CAG Osaka’s journey through the Asia Pacific Finals was not as smooth as their run through the regional closed qualifiers.
However, the Japanese outfit kept moving forwards with three convincing victories.
After crushing Chiefs Esports Club in the first round, CAG Osaka had a slow start against Korea’s FEARX and dropped Consulate 4-7.
This, however, did not stop CAG Osaka, who, with the help of Ryuya “Chibisu” Hamasita and Shuuhei “ShuReap” Yaguchi, turned the game around and completed a reverse sweep with 7-2 on Skyscraper and 7-5 on Chalet.
CAG Osaka did not make the same mistake on Sunday when they played a rematch against FEARX in the final fixture of the Asia Pacific Finals.
They closed out the series after just 19 maps, winning Nighthaven Labs 7-4 and Kafe Dostoyevsky 7-1.

Sho “Sironeko” Endo picked up two MVPs, with a combined KD of 19-7, 95.5% KOST, and 0.99 kills per round.
With that victory, CAG Osaka will return to the Six Invitational after missing the tournament in 2024.
However, despite securing their third Six Invitational ticket in the last four years, CAG Osaka is likely to be priced as one of the tournament outsiders with R6S betting sites, as they have a history of crashing out in the group stage—17th-18th in SI 2021 and 17th-20th in SI 2022 and 2023.
