CAG Osaka are a very experienced team on the international stage, but they have yet to accomplish anything noteworthy outside of their domestic competitions. At BLAST R6 Major Manchester 2024 in May, they crashed out in 12th-14th place.
G2 Esports were even worse in Manchester, as they did not make it to Phase 2 and ended the tournament in 19th-20th place. However, it is unlikely G2 will suffer another early exit in Montreal.
Despite failing to establish themselves as one of the top contenders in Europe, G2 Esports looked much better in the Europe League 2024 Stage 2 LCQ and are rightly priced as favourites with the top Rainbow Six Siege betting sites.

CL4L will be without Tristan “Tristan” Yarbrough, who failed to acquire a passport to travel to Canada and will be replaced by Ooziie. This is a huge blow for the North American side, who were not expected to do exceptionally well at the Major to begin with.
Black Dragons are one of the few teams with no roster problems for their BLAST R6 Major Montreal campaign. Moreover, they are in great form, having won their last six series across the Brazil League 2024 Stage 2 Qualifier Playoffs and Last Chance Qualifier.
This would be a competitive series if CL4L had their full lineup available. But since they are missing their best player, the North American side should not pose a serious obstacle for the Brazilian outfit.

ALPHA Team have serious roster issues, as Martín “Martin2k” Chifflet, Joao “Gaspro” Gaspar, and Nazareno “Naza” Ghione will not be attending the Major.
Team Falcons have not been not immune to visa issues either, with coach Rakan “Madskills” Alsubaie forced to stay home. While attending a Major without a coach is not optimal, the back-to-back Saudi eLeague champions have their roster intact.
ALPHA Team would be the weaker team even with a full roster. Now, playing with three stand-ins, there are even fewer reasons to take their side.

Chiefs Esports Club have the same roster they fielded in the Oceania League 2024 Stage 2 playoffs, with Jack “Jigsaw” Gillies joining the Australian side after the conclusion of the regular season.
FearX’s roster situation is a bit more stable. With Baptiste “JaKs” Dedienne leaving the South Korean squad at the end of October, regular stand-in Lee “Nova” Si-hun has had plenty of time to gel with his teammates since rejoining the roster.
There are cases to be made for FearX since Chiefs Esports Club can be a bit inconsistent, but the Aussies are more experienced and have a higher ceiling. At plus money, the Chiefs are an easy pick.
