The 2021 BLAST Premier Fall Final has won bronze in the Most Successful Sports Event Broadcast genre of the 2022 Sports Business Awards.
The Sports Business Awards recognise and reward achievement by the teams behind the scenes that facilitate sporting excellence around the world.
The Fall Final was one of the first esports events to welcome back crowds and have an in-person tournament in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, after two years of remote and online-only esports events.
Some 25,000 fans packed into the Royal Arena in Copenhagen across three days of top-tier Counter-Strike action which was broadcast all over the globe.
The highlights of the 2021 BLAST Premier Fall Final included over 25 million total views, 861,383 concurrent peak viewership, and 50 hours of live broadcast in 19 languages to over 150 territories.

The BLAST Premier Fall Final finished third, with the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (BBC Sport) and FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 (beIN MEDIA GROUP) filling the top two places.
With BLAST winning the bronze medal, it appears esports are starting to gain wider recognition regarding their high level of viewership and global representation across the world.
BLAST will host its first ever CS:GO Major tournament next May — the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
