BNK FEARX face Team WE in the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational grand final on October 17, with Team WE backed to keep it close.

Demacia Cup LOL

BNK FEARX and Team WE will battle it out for all the marbles in the grand final of the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational on Saturday, October 17, in their first meeting of the year.

Both teams cruised through the Swiss Stage and the first two rounds of the playoffs. But they have had vastly different experiences.

Team WE crushed GAM Esports and edged past HAJIN BRION in the Swiss Stage, and added two more close victories against FlyQuest and HAJIN BRION in the knockout stage.

WE have effectively defeated only one good team in BRION, but even those victories were not that convincing.

In both clashes, BRION shot themselves in the foot and lost against Team WE from very winnable situations.

A win is a win, but Team WE have looked much better than they have actually been this event.

BNK FEARX made it through the group stage with wins against Team Vitality and LGD Gaming, needing three maps to win the latter.

To that, they added a closely fought 3-2 victory against JD Gaming in the quarterfinals and a 3-1 win against KT Rolster in the semifinals.

FEARX should have lost against JD Gaming, but they stepped it up against KT Rolster.

In the latter match, BNK FEARX showed one of their best performances of the last few months, looking like an entirely different team with a more composed approach and strong macro.

This was very unusual for BNK FEARX, who have long been viewed as the complete opposite of a stable team with strong macro.

So while they produced one good game, their performances this season prove they are not as perfect as that result might suggest.

Both teams have looked better this tournament than they really are, especially BNK FEARX with their stomping of KT Rolster.

That performance also explains why FEARX are listed as -250 favourites on the top-rated bookmakers, but knowing how prone they are to choking, a smaller position on Team WE to keep it close is a more appealing pick.
