Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup 2026 quarterfinals continue on August 21 with FUT, MOUZ, Falcons, Vitality and Spirit.

Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup 2026 continues on Friday, August 21, with the remaining three quarterfinal bouts, as FUT Esports face MOUZ, Legacy take on Team Falcons, and Team Vitality clash with Team Spirit.
At Esportbet, you can find free Counter-Strike 2 predictions and betting tips for the three fixtures, and odds courtesy of the best bookmakers for esports punters.
FUT Esports and MOUZ will clash in a rematch from the Group C upper bracket semifinal, when FUT Esports won 2-1.
However, despite their success in the last outing, the top-rated CS2 bookmakers have FUT listed as +125 underdogs for the rematch.
As the less accomplished team, FUT are not expected to be as successful on Friday as they were last time out. However, it is hard to justify MOUZ’s -175.44 tag.
MOUZ might have won the recent BLAST Bounty Summer title, but their form in this event has been lacking.
Dorian “xertioN” Berman and his crew have produced only one notable victory so far, when they swept PARIVISION.
Moreover, MOUZ came very close to losing to GamerLegion in the first round of the playoffs, which does not inspire much confidence.
At plus money, FUT Esports are a no-brainer pick. They are not as experienced or accomplished, but FUT have shown much better form this event and are 3-0 up in the head-to-head in the last three clashes.
FUT Esports to win
Legacy stunned Natus Vincere in the first round of the playoffs after looking somewhat shaky during the group stage.
It was a nice bounce-back for the Brazilian squad, who looked toothless against FaZe in the Group B upper bracket semifinal.
However, Legacy’s dominant victory against NAVI does not mean they will have an easy time on Friday.
Team Falcons are the reigning Major champions and in superb form ahead of their EWC quarterfinal bout.
Besides dominating Group B, where Falcons defeated K27 and Astralis, they also crushed The MongolZ in the quarterfinals with 13-3 on Inferno and 13-9 on Dust II.
As a unit, Falcons are playing as anyone would expect from Major champions, and individually, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin, and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač are all showing up, posting 1.65, 1.45, and 1.30 performance rating averages.
Considering the form Falcons are in, anything less than a 2-0 sweep would be a major disappointment.
Team Falcons -1.5 maps
The final Esports World Cup quarterfinal bout will see Team Vitality face Team Spirit in a rematch from Intel Extreme Masters Rio, when the Bees won 3-0.
The rematch is not expected to be as one-sided, but Vitality are viewed as the most likely victors.
Both titans have had some shaky showings this tournament. Spirit lost against JiJieHao and needed a reverse sweep against BIG to qualify for the playoffs.
Team Vitality, on the other side, lost to B8 and did not have to beat any strong teams en route to the final 16.
In the first round of the playoffs, Spirit handled B8 and Team Vitality defeated the surging FaZe Clan.
But while Vitality had to face a stronger opponent to reach this stage, that is a poor reason to take their side in this contest.
Team Vitality have had Spirit’s number since May of last year, with a 4-0 head-to-head record and 17-6 in maps.
However, both squads have been iffy of late, suggesting this clash is closer to a coin flip than anything else. At plus money, Spirit are worth a look.
Team Spirit to win
