Friday’s Cologne Major playoff slate features Spirit vs G2 and Vitality vs Falcons, with CS2 odds, form notes and expert picks.

Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026 playoffs continue on Friday, June 19, with the second pair of quarterfinal fixtures, as Team Spirit face G2 Esports before Team Falcons meet Team Vitality.
Here you can find free Counter-Strike 2 betting predictions for the two games, with odds from the best esports bookmakers and our expert picks.
Team Spirit have reached the final stage of the Major with a perfect 6-0 record. That run includes victories against Natus Vincere, Aurora Gaming, and 9z Team in Stage 3, with the latter two ending in reverse sweeps.
Even though Aurora Gaming and 9z have caused Spirit some issues, the Russian squad have been nothing short of phenomenal, especially Danil “donk” Kryshkovets.
Donk has averaged a 1.53 performance rating in Stage 3 and 2.27 in Stage 2, making him the standout player of the tournament so far.
G2 Esports clawed their way to the playoffs with an upset victory against Natus Vincere in the fifth round of Stage 3. It was G2’s only notable victory of the tournament, yet even that game is nothing to write home about, as NAVI did not perform well.
Team Spirit are firm favourites to defeat G2 Esports and for all the right reasons. They are in better shape and have a better win rate on all but two maps in the rotation.
Barring any major surprises, this should end in a clean 2-0 sweep for Spirit.
The best Counter-Strike 2 bookmakers have Team Falcons priced as $3.00 underdogs for Friday’s game. That is a generous offer on a team that can beat anyone, including Team Vitality, whom the Falcons defeated 2-1 in April.
Team Vitality are ranked very highly, which comes as no surprise, as the Bees are the season’s most successful team, having won five S-Tier tournaments this year.
However, Vitality looked shaky at Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta last month, and their performances in Cologne have not been that inspiring either.
With two close victories against FUT Esports and MOUZ, a 2-0 sweep of BetBoom Team, and a 1-2 loss against 9z Team, Team Vitality have been showing cracks in their armour.
Meanwhile, Team Falcons have looked more potent, especially in their recent victory against Natus Vincere in the final round of Stage 3.
Team Falcons have been playing solid Counter-Strike in Cologne, and the addition of in-game leader Finn “karrigan” Andersen seems to have helped them stabilise. They have performed better in clutch moments and have been very efficient in overtime, going 2-0 in the Swiss Stage.
At $2.00, over 2.5 maps is a no-brainer pick. Vitality are likely to shift into a higher gear in the playoffs, but Team Falcons have the tools to do serious damage.
