B8 and BetBoom Team have yet to clash this season, but according to the latest odds, BetBoom Team are expected to come out on top in Monday’s opener.

B8 enter IEM Atlanta 2026 in shaky form. Their only tournament title this season came at Parken Challenger Championship #3 in April, and they have since placed fifth-eighth at PGL Bucharest and ninth-12th at IEM Rio.

BetBoom Team have not been moving mountains either, but the recent loan signing of Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev gives them a clear boost. They have also made some noise in B-tier events this season, which gives them a bit more momentum heading into Atlanta.

Both teams are capable of slipping on the first day of play, but BetBoom look the more reliable side and deserve to be favoured at these numbers.

PAIN GAMING vs FAZE CLAN

FaZe Clan produced a decent showing with a new coach and Ryan “Neityu” Aubry at BLAST Rivals Spring, where they finished third. They beat FURIA and G2 Esports at the event, while their two losses came against Natus Vincere.

That is a respectable run, especially given the changes around the team. Still, this is not a spot where FaZe look especially appealing at a short price.

PaiN Gaming are one of the hottest teams out of South America, having recently won FERJEE In House and Circuit X Mayhem São Paulo. The level of opposition will be much tougher in Atlanta, but paiN have shown before that they can hang with strong European teams.

FaZe performed better than expected in their latest outing, but the market looks a little too high on them here. PaiN are dangerous enough to punish a team still adjusting, and at plus money, they are worth backing.

NRG vs FUT ESPORTS

FUT Esports are back at full strength for IEM Atlanta, with Laurențiu “lauNX” Țârlea returning to the lineup. The last time FUT played with lauNX, they won PGL Bucharest and placed fourth at ESL Pro League Season 23.

Without him, FUT attended BLAST Rivals Spring and finished seventh-eighth, so his return should make a clear difference to a team that already looked like one of the stronger names in this field.

NRG are one of the biggest outsiders to claim the trophy on home soil after producing lacklustre results in recent events. They failed to break into the top nine at BLAST Open Spring or PGL Bucharest, and their fifth-eighth finish at FRAG did little to change the overall picture.

FUT may not be ready to challenge Team Vitality for the title, but they are one of the more likely teams to advance from the group stage. With the full roster available, they should have too much for an NRG side that has not shown enough against tier-one opposition.

TEAM VITALITY vs BC.GAME ESPORTS

Best OddsVIT -3333.33 at BetOnline | BC.Game +900 at SportsBetting

Team Vitality are the team to beat in Atlanta and remain the undisputed best CS2 team in the world. They claimed two Major titles in 2025 and have shown no signs of slowing down, winning six consecutive S-Tier tournament titles since February.

BC.Game Esports are not on the same level as Vitality, or most of the other teams in attendance. They have featured in five tournaments this season, including PGL Bucharest, but have not managed to seriously challenge for top spots.

The recent loan signing of Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold gives BC.Game a new piece, but they will also have to play with their coach, which is far from ideal against a team as ruthless as Vitality.

Team Vitality have been running over elite-tier opponents all season, so BC.Game should barely be a bump on the road. The favourites should control this from start to finish.

NATUS VINCERE vs PASSION UA

Best OddsNAVI -1250 at BetOnline | P.UA +600 at SportsBetting
WhenMay 11, 2026 | 16:30 EDT
Watch LiveYouTube, Twitch

Natus Vincere are the strongest team attending Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta 2026 outside of Team Vitality. They are in excellent form, having recently placed second at BLAST Rivals Spring, adding to their silver medal from BLAST Open Spring and a title run at ESL Pro League Season 23.

The one concern with NAVI is that they can occasionally slip in unexpected spots, and that often happens during the group stage. Even so, it is easy to see why the best CS2 bookmakers have them priced as firm favourites here.

Passion UA have not found much success this season and have been underwhelming even in lesser events. Even with Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold as a stand-in, they did not win anything noteworthy, so things are unlikely to improve with his departure.

Barring a major surprise, Natus Vincere should sweep with plenty to spare.

SINNERS ESPORTS vs GAMERLEGION

Best OddsSINNERS +137 at BetOnline | GL -188.68 at SportsBetting
WhenMay 11, 2026 | 16:30 EDT

SINNERS Esports are underdogs to defeat GamerLegion, even though they have shown some good things this season. They qualified for the Major and have also won two events since late March.

That makes SINNERS a dangerous opponent, but this is still a step up against a GamerLegion side that has been trending in the right direction.

GamerLegion placed third at Stake Ranked Episode 1 and reached the semifinals of BLAST Rivals Spring, which is no small feat. They still have more to prove, but those results are enough to make them deserving favourites for this clash.

SINNERS are no pushovers, but the raw quality and experience on GamerLegion should be enough to get them over the line.

LEGACY vs M80

Best OddsLegacy +162 at BetOnline | M80 -227.27 at SportsBetting
WhenMay 11, 2026 | 19:00 EDT

Legacy are a hard team to pin down. They have been very up and down this season, showing both strong games against quality teams and worrying performances against weaker opponents.

They recently won the BetBoom RUSH B! Summit, but in Rio they lost to HOTU, and a few weeks earlier they dropped games against MIBR and B8 at PGL Bucharest. Legacy can have good days, but they are too inconsistent to trust at a short price.

M80 are similar in that they have produced as many good wins as worrying losses. Quality-wise, there is not much to separate these teams, and this matchup looks much closer than the odds suggest.

Legacy may have shown higher highs, but M80 will play on home soil, which is worth considering. At plus money in what feels close to a coin flip, M80 are an excellent pick.

TEAM LIQUID vs ASTRALIS

Best OddsTL +225 at BetOnline | AST -303.03 at SportsBetting
WhenMay 11, 2026 | 19:00 EDT

The final match of the day is also one of the most interesting, as the improving Astralis clash with home-crowd favourites Team Liquid.

Team Liquid are in rough shape and have been on a downward spiral for a while. Their last competitive outing came at IEM Rio, where they lost to Team Spirit and 3DMAX. Losing to Spirit is understandable, but dropping a game to 3DMAX was a much bigger concern.

Even before IEM Rio, Liquid had not impressed, placing seventh-eighth at DraculaN Season 6 and ninth-12th at BLAST Open Spring. That poor form, combined with a month-long break, does not set them up well for a matchup against an Astralis side moving in the opposite direction.

Astralis have shown clear improvement with a third-place finish at ESL Pro League and a silver medal from PGL Bucharest. Based on recent form, they look a tier above the struggling Liquid.

Team Liquid will have the crowd behind them, but Astralis look much cleaner right now and should be able to win this with room to spare.
