VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 1 continues on Thursday, April 30, with Natus Vincere taking on Karmine Corp before BBL Esports face FNATIC. The first match brings together two Group Alpha sides badly needing a result, while the later game gives FNATIC another chance to protect their unbeaten run against a BBL team coming off its best win of the stage.

NAVI at -166.67 is not a flashy play, but it is the side that makes more sense when Karmine Corp are still searching for their first win of Stage 1.

Karmine have not been completely blown off the server every week, which is why the underdog price has some temptation at first glance. They took maps off Gentle Mates, Team Heretics and FUT Esports, so there is enough fight there to make NAVI work for it. The issue is that those single-map efforts have not turned into series wins, and that becomes hard to ignore this deep into the group stage.

NAVI have had their own rough moments, but they at least have a win on the board and were competitive enough against Team Liquid last week to suggest they are not miles away. In a match between two teams under pressure, taking the side that has actually shown it can close a series is the cleaner betting route.

BBL ESPORTS vs FNATIC

FNATIC are still priced kindly enough for an unbeaten team, especially when their 4-0 start has come with an 8-2 map record.

BBL deserve more respect after the comeback win over Team Vitality, and this is not the sort of match where FNATIC can coast on name value. BBL have enough mid-round bite to punish a slow start, and they have already shown they can turn a series after dropping the opener. That is what keeps this from being a simple favourite-or-pass spot.

Even so, FNATIC have been the most reliable side in Group Omega from the start of Stage 1. They have already handled Eternal Fire, Vitality, PCIFIC and GIANTX, and the way they have kept finding answers across different maps makes the -133.33 look playable. BBL can make this uncomfortable, but FNATIC still look better equipped to win the late rounds that decide a tight best-of-three.
