WEIBO GAMING vs INVICTUS GAMING

Invictus Gaming fought their way through the Knights Rivals, with a 1-3 loss against Ninjas in Pyjamas, and a 3-0 sweep of Oh My God. The latter was a dominant showing from IG, who were in full control wire-to-wire.

Admittedly, Oh My God are not among the strongest teams in the league, but it is hard to ignore just how clean Invictus Gaming’s macro was on the day. An impressive display, but it remains to be seen whether they can recreate it on Wednesday.

Weibo Gaming played their last match on February 6, when they swept Invictus Gaming in the final week of the group stage. It was a one-sided game, but it came down to Invictus Gaming making too many errors. On the other hand, Weibo Gaming forced many of those errors with clean map movement.

Given how the last meeting played out, it is no surprise that the best LoL bookmakers have Weibo Gaming priced as favorites.

But they’ve been too volatile this season to deserve a -303.03 price tag.

Invictus Gaming have shown improvement in the Knights Rivals, and if they can keep their wheels spinning, a closer clash should be expected.

BILIBILI GAMING vs NINJAS IN PYJAMAS

Bilibili Gaming have yet to meet with Ninjas in Pyjamas this season. However, as No.2 seed from Group Ascend, they have earned the tag as firm favorites to win on Wednesday.

Ninjas in Pyjamas won Group Perseverance and made it through Knights Rivals with a 3-1 victory against Invictus Gaming. On the one map they lost, NIP threw away an 11k gold lead with a botched attempt to close out the game.

The other three maps were clean performances from Ninjas in Pyjamas, who seem to have found more traction since the group stage. While still a bit of an enigma and unproven against elite teams, NiP look well-equipped to do some damage.

Bilibili Gaming have been anything but convincing this season. They’ve produced many solid games, but just as many stinkers, proving themselves as a hot-or-cold squad.

While this is BLG’s game to lose, they’ve been too volatile to believe it’ll be a clean sweep.
