Fnatic lost to SK Gaming on Sunday, despite entering the match as heavy favourites on the top LoL betting sites. This only goes to show how volatile these games can be, especially when involving teams who’ve made major roster changes.
Monday’s affair features two teams who’ve both replaced a good chunk of their players. However, despite replacing four members in the offseason, Natus Vincere have gotten off to a better start to LEC 2026 Versus, beating Team Heretics and Team Vitality.
Momentum is not something to ignore, but something to consider early in the season. While Fnatic appear stronger on paper, they should not be favored.

Team Vitality lost to Natus Vincere on Sunday, but they look set to bounce back against Karmine Corp Blue. As an ERL team, KC Blue are among the top contenders for LEC Versus wooden spoon, and their win over Los Ratones on Sunday does not change that.
Team Vitality are not only a more stacked team, but they also have strong continuity, which should help them early into the split. Admittedly, this did not play a role on Sunday, when the Bees had to admit defeat to NAVI; however, Vitality have volatility in their identity.
Barring any major surprises, Vitality should dominate.

Team Heretics are one of three teams in the league to have lost their first two games of the split. On day one, they had to admit defeat to Natus Vincere, and they were just as unsuccessful against Shifters on Sunday.
GIANTX are enjoying a much better start to the year, having already beaten Shifters and G2 Esports. Those results are not too shocking considering GIANTX are running it back with the same lineup they fielded in 2025, and the added continuity is working in their favor.
Team Heretics have the potential to be good, but the changes in the top, jungle, and ADC positions have led to some growing pains. Until they find some footing, Heretics are hard to trust.

Shifters are 1-1 ahead of the third and final day of LEC Versus Week 1. They lost to GIANTX on the opening day and bounced back with a convincing victory against Team Heretics.
Much like other teams who’ve kept most of their rosters from 2025, the Shifters look better than most of the league. Their ceiling is fairly low, so it’s hard to put much trust in Shifters when faced with good teams. Movistar KOI are both an elite-tier team, and they’ve not made any changes to their lineup.
Movistar KOI are priced as big favourites for this match and for all the right reasons. They’re 2-0 and are in the best form out of any team.

Los Ratones are winless after two rounds of play. They lost to Fnatic and, on Sunday, fell to Karmine Corp Blue. Now they’re set to face KC Blue’s sister team, who are also much stronger.
Karmine Corp lost to Movistar KOI on Sunday, which stings, but there is no shame in losing to last year’s clear no. 3. While they deserve some slack for the loss, it is also hard to praise KC too much, as their only other game was against KC Blue.
Los Ratones winning would not be the most shocking thing, considering Karmine Corp’s tendency to slip. However, given how the two teams like to play and the current fast-paced meta, a bet on over 25 kills makes more sense.

SK Gaming upset Fnatic on Sunday, improving their record to 1-1. G2 Esports, on the other side, are still chasing their first victory of the split after losing to Movistar KOI and GIANTX.
Seeing G2 struggle is nothing new. They are known to be slow starters, especially Rasmus “Caps” Winther, who’s been consistently a poorer performer in winter splits regardless of who he’s playing with.
These two teams are at least one tier apart, but G2’s slow start makes them a less appealing pick at these numbers. SK Gaming lack in many areas, but this is an experienced roster who will punish mistakes.
