Demacia Cup 2025 group stage continues on Saturday, December 20, with the sixth day of play as China’s best League of Legends teams continue their climb towards the trophy.
Saturday’s slate will see Ninjas in Pyjamas take on LGD Gaming, followed by a clash between Weibo Gaming and Oh My God, and ending with a meeting between EDward Gaming and Invictus Gaming.
While most teams have opted to field some academy players for the event, this does not take away from the betting opportunities available. And here you can find our free LoL betting previews and expert picks for Saturday’s affairs.

Ninjas in Pyjamas haven’t done the best job forming a competitive roster for the next season; however, they have decided to field their starting lineup for Demacia Cup. Still, even with that advantage, they had to admit defeat to Edward Gaming on Friday.
According to the top League of Legends betting sites, NIP are expected to bounce back on Saturday, when they face LGD Gaming.
Chou “Sav1or” Guobin and his crew have played three games thus far and won two, against ZSM and ThunderTalk, but they were unsuccessful against Oh My God on Thursday, losing 0-2. Much like NIP, LGD do not have high expectations for the 2026 season, and they are not among the top contenders to win the Demacia Cup.
This is a clash between two bottom-tier LoL Pro League (LPL) teams, and there is not much to separate them. At plus money, it’s worth taking a stab at LGD.

Weibo Gaming have made huge changes to their LoL roster this offseason, adding a new top laner Tang “Zika” Huayu, jungler Zhao “Jiejie” Lijie, and a new bottom lane duo in ADC Liu “Crisp” Qingsong and support Shi “Erha” Xunye.
This lineup has the potential to compete for a top-three finish in LPL, and in the weakened field at Demacia Cup, they should not struggle fighting for top spots.
Like Weibo Gaming, Oh My God decided to field their starting roster for the Demacia Cup. But due to the absence of star players, this brings little excitement, nor does it inspire much confidence that they can stop what appears to be one of the top-four teams in the LPL.
However, while Weibo Gaming appear significantly stronger on paper, they have played just one game and haven’t looked great. The growing pains with the new lineup are present and make WBG vulnerable to a slip-up.

EDward Gaming kicked off their Demacia Cup campaign with a victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas and will now be chasing their second win of the group stage against Invictus Gaming.
Unlike EDG, Invictus Gaming do not field their full roster for Demacia Cup. They are without the star Song “Rookie” Eui-jin, with Zhang “Renard” Xingche taking his place in the mid lane. Still, even without Rookie, this is a stacked roster, which could achieve great things if all pieces click.
There are many “what ifs” with Invictus Gaming, who have a new top laner, and a new bottom lane. The high-variance nature of the team does not help, but at +137 to defeat Edward Gaming, Invictus Gaming are hard to pass on.
