Gen.G struggled during the regular season and barely made the playoffs with a 2-5 record and 10-16 map differential. However, they proved their worth in the lower-bracket quarterfinals by upsetting the second-seeded Virtus.pro.
Team Peps also qualified for the playoffs by the skin of their teeth. However, they started the knockout stage with a promising victory against Team Vision, whom they dominated on all maps except for Flashpoint–Suravasa.
This is a clash between two outsiders who defied all the odds in the opening round of the playoffs. Team Peps won this matchup in the third week of the regular season, but that was before Gen.G’s resurgence. If Daniel “xzodyal” Castro and his crew can keep their form up, they should win this time.

Al Qadsiah entered the OWCS EMEA Stage 3 playoffs as the team to beat. They dominated the regular season, with a perfect 7-0 record and a 21-3 map differential. They also secured a Week 1 victory over Twisted Minds, which explains why the top esports betting sites have the Saudi squad priced as clear favorites.
Twisted Minds, however, should not be underestimated. They had a solid run through the regular season and pushed Al Qadsiah to their limits over five maps in the opening week. Moreover, Ibrahem “Quartz” Alali and his crew defeated their rivals twice during the Saudi eLeague Major 3 at the start of the month, with 3-0 and 4-2.
While this is still Al Qadsiah’s game to lose, Twisted Minds at -151.52 to win a map are hard to pass on.
