Week 7 of the 2025 Esports World Cup kicked off on Tuesday, August 19, with the CrossFire EWC tournament taking place at the SNB Esports Arena. The final two events of the Esports World Cup — Counter-Strike 2 and Street Fighter 6 — begin on Wednesday, August 20.
With major esports titles featured throughout the final week, top esports betting sites will offer markets on most of the matches.
The CrossFire Esports World Cup began on Tuesday, featuring the first two series in each of the four groups throughout the day’s action. Following the opening round, the two teams in the winners’ match are now just one victory away from securing a spot in the playoffs.

The Street Fighter 6 and Counter-Strike 2 Esports World Cup events will begin on Wednesday, August 20. With US$1 million on the line in the SF6 tournament and $1.25 million up for grabs in CS2, teams will also be competing for valuable Club Championship points.
