T1 and Rex Regum Qeon from the VCT Pacific League secured their spots at VALORANT Champions 2025. Read on to find out how they qualified.

By winning their VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 Pacific Stage 2 lower bracket quarterfinal matches on Saturday, August 16, T1 and Rex Regum Qeon have secured their spots at VALORANT Champions 2025.
Saturday was a crucial day in the VCT 2025 Pacific qualification for the VALORANT Champions, as T1 faced Nongshim RedForce and Rex Regum Qeon clashed with DRX in the lower bracket of the playoffs.

The VALORANT Masters Bangkok champions, T1, entered their match as favorites, and they did not hesitate to justify that tag.
T1 took an early 10-2 lead on Lotus before halftime and closed out the map, 13-6.
The second map of the series, Ascent, started in Nongshim RedForce’s favor as they took a 7-5 lead on defense but were unable to break through T1 on the attacking side and lost 9-13.
The second match of the day, featuring Rex Regum Qeon and DRX, was expected to be much more closely contested. However, like T1, RRQ did not allow their opponents to cross double digits.
After picking up Icebox 13-7, Rex Regum Qeon had to show off their attacking prowess on the new map, Corrode, to edge out a 13-9 win, largely thanks to Cahya “monyet” Nugraha, who ended the map with a 1.32 performance rating.

Following their respective lower bracket quarterfinal victories, T1 and Rex Regum Qeon joined Paper Rex as three of four VALORANT teams who will represent the Pacific region in Paris from September 12 – October 5.
Ahead of the final two matches of the VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2 playoffs, TALON and DRX are the only two teams who remain in the race for VALORANT Champions 2025 qualification.
DRX are the first in line to qualify, having accumulated 12 points this season. Meanwhile, TALON are guaranteed 11 points by reaching the upper bracket finals but still need one more to surpass DRX and book their tickets for Paris.
The decisive match for TALON’s Champions hopes is scheduled for Sunday, when they face off against Paper Rex, who the top VALORANT betting sites have as -277.78 favorites to spoil TALON’s plans.
