Riot Games has announced Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu as the host cities for LoL Worlds 2025. Full schedule and venue guide inside.

Riot Games have revealed the three venues which will host the upcoming 2025 League of Legends World Championship, hosted in China.
Taking place on October 14 – November 9, 2025, the LoL World Championship 2025 returns to China for the first time since 2020, when Damwon Gaming (now Dplus KIA) hoisted their first Summoner’s Cup.

The last time LoL’s season-culminating tournament took place in China, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the organisers to stick to just two venues, Shanghai Media Tech Studio and Pudong Football Stadium for the grand final.
The 15th edition of LoL Worlds, meanwhile, will be played out in three different locations. The Play-In and Swiss Stage will take place at the Beijing Smart Esports Center, which was specifically built for premier esports events.
The remaining eight teams will travel to Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai for the Knockout Stage, where they will battle it out in a single-elimination best-of-five matches to punch their tickets for the Finals.
The final clash for the Summoner’s Cup will unfold at the 18,000-seat Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu on November 9.
Besides announcing the venues, Riot Games also revealed that the Play-In Stage will feature a one-day best-of-five games between the fourth-seeded team of the two top-performing regions of the Mid-Season Invitational for a spot in the Swiss Stage.
