DreamLeague Season 29 betting

DreamLeague Season 29 betting will open in the days leading up to the event, with most bookies expected to offer outright winner markets and individual match odds once the final invited teams are locked in. The tournament is scheduled to run from May 13-24, 2026 in Europe as an online event, featuring 16 teams and a US$1,000,000 total prize pool. Our DreamLeague betting guide runs through everything you need to know, including the latest DreamLeague odds, the format, the currently confirmed teams and how to watch the event live.

What is DreamLeague Season 29?

Dota 2

DreamLeague is one of the longest-running names in competitive Dota 2, first launching back in 2013 under the old DreamHack banner. After the original run ended with Season 13 in early 2020, the series went quiet for a few years before returning in 2023 as part of the modern ESL Pro Tour.

Now in 2026, DreamLeague sits inside the 2025/2026 EPT season and remains one of the key online Tier 1 Dota events on the calendar. Season 29 follows on from DreamLeague Season 28 and ESL One Birmingham 2026, with 16 teams fighting for US$1,000,000 and a large chunk of EPT points on the road to the Esports World Cup.

Unlike Season 28, which used a two-stage league setup, Season 29 moves to a more direct structure built around two round-robin groups feeding into a double-elimination playoff bracket. That makes it easier to follow from a betting perspective, especially once the groups are drawn and the upper- and lower-bracket paths start to take shape.

DreamLeague Season 29 betting

Dota 2 betting continues to be one of the most popular esports markets online, and DreamLeague is regularly one of the better events to bet on because of its strong field and long format. Many esports betting sites are expected to offer DreamLeague markets once the remaining invited teams are confirmed and the opening group matches are posted.

DreamLeague betting is available as long as you are inside the supported regions for the sportsbooks you use. We have listed our preferred DreamLeague betting sites below, focusing on operators that usually offer stronger odds, better live betting support and a broader range of match markets on top-tier Dota 2 events.

Currently confirmed DreamLeague Season 29 teams:

  • Natus Vincere – Western Europe qualifier
  • Virtus.pro – Western Europe qualifier
  • Team Liquid – Western Europe qualifier
  • BetBoom Team – Eastern Europe qualifier
  • Vici Gaming – China qualifier
  • REKONIX – Southeast Asia qualifier
  • GamerLegion – North America qualifier
  • HEROIC – South America qualifier

DreamLeague Season 29 format

  • Two single round-robin groups of eight teams
  • All series are best-of-three
  • Top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket playoffs
  • 5th and 6th place teams from each group advance to the lower bracket playoffs
  • Bottom two teams from each group are eliminated
  • Double-elimination bracket
  • All matches except the Grand Final are best-of-three
  • Grand Final is best-of-five

This format is a little more direct than some of DreamLeague’s recent versions. The best-of-three group stage makes early results more meaningful, while still giving good teams enough room to recover if they start slowly.
