The ESL Pro League remains one of the marquee events on the global CS2 calendar, but the 2026 edition brings one of the biggest format changes the tournament has seen in years. ESL Pro League Season 24 will be played entirely on LAN in Katowice, Poland, with the field cut from 24 teams to 16 in order to create a more compact and more prestigious in-person event.
That shift makes ESL Pro League Season 24 a much cleaner betting event than the old hybrid versions. Rather than dragging through multiple online stages, the tournament will now run from October 3-11, 2026 with every match played on LAN, the group stage held from October 3-7, and the live playoffs taking place at the Spodek Arena from October 9-11.
Our updated ESL Pro League betting guide covers everything you need to know about the 2026 edition of the event, including the expected teams, dates, structure, prize pool, common bet types and how to find the best CS2 EPL odds once the markets open.
CS2 ESL Pro League 2026
ESL Pro League Season 24 is the second EPL event of the 2026 season and the first to return fully to LAN from start to finish. That is a big change from Season 23, which split the event into online Swiss stages followed by a short Stockholm finals weekend. This time the entire tournament is being played in person in Katowice, which should improve competitive integrity and make the event easier to follow for both fans and bettors.
The field has been reduced to 16 teams, with 12 places allocated through the Global Valve Regional Standings and the final four slots going to the winners of ESL Challenger League Season 51 in Europe, North America, South America and Asia-Pacific. ESL has confirmed that the invites will follow the first available monthly VRS publication of August 2026, while seeding will follow the first available monthly VRS publication of September 2026.
Because every stage will now be played on LAN, EPL Season 24 should feel more like a true high-end autumn arena tournament than a stretched-out online league product. The event also still counts toward the ESL Grand Slam race, which adds another layer of importance for teams targeting the biggest Counter-Strike trophies of the year.

CS2 ESL Pro League betting sites 2026
There is a wide range of CS2 ESL Pro League betting sites, but not every book treats a major Counter-Strike event with the same level of seriousness. The strongest sportsbooks are usually the ones that go beyond a simple winner line and also offer map betting, handicaps, totals, outright markets and a solid live product once the tournament is underway.
Below are the top ESL Pro League betting sites and links to access high-quality reviews written by our esports experts.
- Betway (Betway esports review)
- 888 Sports (888Sports esports review)
- Leo Vegas (Leo Vegas esports review)
- Betsson (Betsson esports review)
- Bet365 (bet365 esports review)
The sites above generally stand out for offering better customer support, broader esports coverage, stronger betting menus and easier deposit methods. Most of these CS2 betting apps also work well on mobile, which matters when you are following a long tournament day with multiple matches on the board.
For a major event like ESL Pro League, it is usually worth comparing odds across at least two or three different sportsbooks rather than taking the first price you see. Even a small gap in the outright or match winner market can make a real difference across a long tournament.
CS2 ESL Pro League odds
There are many esports betting sites that you will be able to use for wagering on ESL Pro League Season 24, but the outright odds are not available yet. That is normal at this stage, because the direct invites will not be finalized until the August 2026 VRS publication and the final qualifier spots also still need to be completed.
Once the markets do go live, the first major prices will usually be the outright winner odds, followed by “to reach the final”, group-stage advancement markets and then the individual match odds once the Swiss pairings are confirmed.
Because EPL Season 24 is all-LAN and uses a fully best-of-three Swiss phase, it should be one of the easier CS2 tournaments for bookmakers to frame. That generally helps create stronger map handicap and totals markets than you get at events that still rely heavily on best-of-one openers.
At the time of writing, official ESL Pro League Season 24 odds are not available yet.
When the prices do open, this section can be updated with both outright winner and “to reach the final” markets, just like the older EPL pages on site.
ESL Pro League teams 2026
ESL Pro League Season 24 will feature 16 teams, but the full field is not officially locked yet because invites follow the August 2026 Valve Regional Standings update. Based on the current projected standings, the likely core of the field is already taking shape.
Projected VRS invite teams
- Team Vitality
- Natus Vincere
- The MongolZ
- FUT Esports
- Astralis
- Team Spirit
- Team Falcons
- Aurora Gaming
- 3DMAX
- G2 Esports
- B8
- PARIVISION
Regional qualifier slots
- ESL Challenger League Season 51 Europe winner
- ESL Challenger League Season 51 North America winner
- ESL Challenger League Season 51 South America winner
- ESL Challenger League Season 51 Asia-Pacific winner
This is one of the biggest differences between Season 24 and the old 24-team two-stage layout. There is no Stage 1 or Stage 2 split this time. Everyone starts in the same 16-team Swiss phase, and that should make the event feel much more compact and much easier to follow from round one.

ESL Pro League dates 2026
- Team arrival: October 1, 2026
- Media day: October 2, 2026
- Group Stage: October 3-7, 2026
- Playoffs: October 9-11, 2026
- Spodek Arena finals weekend: October 9-11, 2026
There is also a small break between the end of the group stage and the start of the playoffs, which gives the qualified teams time to prepare for the live arena weekend in Katowice.

ESL Pro League tournament structure
The structure of ESL Pro League Season 24 is much simpler than the 2025 and early-2026 versions of the event. Rather than using two separate Swiss phases, the 2026 edition uses a 16-team LAN group stage followed by an eight-team live playoff bracket.
This change was made to bring the full event onto LAN in Katowice, but it also gives the tournament a much more straightforward rhythm. The smaller field means fewer dead matches, a tighter schedule and less room for the event to lose momentum before the arena stage.
Group Stage will feature a 16-team Swiss-system format, with all matches played as best-of-three series. The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs.
The Playoffs will be a single-elimination bracket. Quarter-finals, semi-finals and the third-place decider will all be best-of-three series, while the grand final will be played as a best-of-five.
One of the more interesting details here is that ESL will continue using its own seeding variation rather than just copying the standard approach used at other Swiss events. That can matter for bettors because early-round draw paths are often one of the most important parts of a tournament like this.
CS2 ESL Pro League prizemoney
The US$1,000,000 ESL Pro League Season 24 prize pool distribution follows the table shown below. The money is split between team/player prize money and club share rewards.
| Placing | Team Prize Money $USD | Club Share $USD |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | $125,000 | $170,000 |
| 2nd | $50,000 | $125,000 |
| 3rd | $30,000 | $90,000 |
| 4th | $20,000 | $65,000 |
| 5th-8th | $10,000 | $40,000 |
| 9th-11th | $6,000 | $20,000 |
| 12th-14th | $4,000 | $10,000 |
| 15th-16th | $2,500 | – |
The biggest difference here compared with the older 24-team versions is how much more top-heavy the event feels. With only 16 teams making the cut, simply qualifying for EPL Season 24 will already matter more than before.
How to bet on the ESL Pro League 2026
Once you have registered with one of the ESL Pro League betting sites available in your location, the next step is to head into the esports section and find the CS2 markets for ESL Pro League Season 24.
For a tournament like this, the first markets are usually the outright winner prices, followed by group-stage advancement, match winner, correct score and map handicap markets as the event gets closer. When the tournament actually starts, in-play betting becomes one of the strongest parts of the overall betting menu.

Before placing any bet, you will need to fund your account using one of the common bookmaker payment methods accepted in your market. This often includes Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and other popular processors, and it is usually a quick process once you follow the cashier prompts.
The main thing with ESL Pro League betting is not to rush into prices too early without checking the final field and bracket shape. A LAN event with a 16-team Swiss stage can look straightforward on paper, but early seeding and draw paths still matter a lot.
CS2 ESL Pro League bet types
There are various betting options on the CS2 ESL Pro League for the 2026 edition. You can bet on the outright winner before the first match is played, or wait for the live tournament schedule and target individual series as the Swiss stage develops.
As the tournament draws nearer, match-day markets will launch at online bookies, with these often including head-to-head betting, handicap lines, total maps and correct score options. The stronger esports books will also add in-play markets once a series is underway.
Some of the most popular bet types available on the ESL Pro League 2026 include:
- ESL Pro League outright tournament winner
Here, a bettor is allowed to predict the possible winner of ESL Pro League Season 24 and stake any amount they wish on that team becoming champions. - Match Winner
The bettor wagers on the outcome of a specific ESL Pro League match and chooses which team will win the series. - Handicap (Maps)
This type of EPL bet allows the bettor to place wagers based on the map spread in a series, such as -1.5 or +1.5 maps. - Total Maps (Over/Under)
Here, the bettor predicts the total number of maps to be played in an ESL Pro League match. - Correct Score
This market asks the bettor to predict the exact final scoreline of a series, such as 2-0, 2-1 or 3-1 depending on the format. - To Reach The Final
A futures market on whether a team will make the grand final without necessarily winning the tournament.
Because Season 24 is all-LAN and uses a best-of-three Swiss format, map-based markets should be especially important this year. That often creates better value than just betting the outright winner market and leaving it there.
