Seeded in the group of death, Rogue’s chances to make it into the playoffs will heavily rely on causing at least a couple of upsets, which isn’t that unlikely in best-of-one (Bo1) series. A win against the reigning world champions would be just the ticket.

DWG KIA and Rogue last met during the 2020 LoL Worlds, where the Korean squad won both Bo1s. Many expect them to emulate that success in Iceland, and that’s fair; however, DWG seem much weaker than they were last year.

They’re still one of the best mid-jungle team in the world, with a very stable top side, but their bottom lane seems lacking. That’s a weakness Rogue should exploit as a team that can play through the bot side.

Rogue struggle in transitioning from mid to late game, but they can be tough to stop if they get ahead early. This is a longshot bet, but siding with the outsiders in the early stages of the group stage is usually the right call.

PSG TALON vs HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: PSG -114.94 at BetOnline | HLE -114.94 at BetOnline
When: October 12, 2021 at 13:00 GMT
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Hanwha Life Esports demolished PSG Talon’s compatriots Beyond Gaming in the 2021 LoL Worlds play-in finals, but that doesn’t mean much, knowing that PSG Talon are much stronger than Beyond. The latter also had to play with their substitute top laner after Riot Games banned mid laner Chien “Maoan” Mao-An for sharing the team’s pick/ban strategy with a friend for betting purposes.

Hanwha Life Esports field some solid pieces, but their performances during the play-in stage were rather lacklustre. They have looked good, but it’s easy to seem that way when you’re playing against some of the weakest teams at the tournament.

GEN.G vs MAD LIONS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Gen.G +102 at BetOnline | MAD -135.14 at BetOnline
When: October 12, 2021 at 17:00 GMT
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

MAD Lions have won the LoL European Championship (LEC) twice in a row and are clearly the top European representatives. However, this is still a very young and inexperienced roster with clear weaknesses.

MAD Lions have gained recognition as a team that consistently fell behind early but always found a way to bounce back. That has worked in the LEC – which realistically had only three good teams this season – but it likely won’t against more composed and organised teams such as Gen.G.

The LoL Champions Korea (LCK) teams are admittedly not as strong as they were in 2014-2016, but the region as a whole is very risk-averse, which won’t do MAD Lions any favours. This seems like a 50/50 match, but we have to take Gen.G as they have some strategic advantage.
