Another big week of esports kicks off on January 20, 2025, with Counter-Strike 2 taking centre stage in Denmark.

The first edition of the BLAST Bounty Spring Finals will kick off on Thursday, January 23, at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen.

The VALORANT Champions Tour Kickoff tournaments will continue in each of the four regions throughout the week.

Meanwhile, the new League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA) league will kick off in North and South America on Saturday, January 25.

BLAST Bounty Spring Finals

After the completion of the BLAST Bounty Spring Closed Qualifiers, the top eight teams will advance to the Finals of the tournament at the BLAST Studios, where they will compete in a single-elimination bracket for the lion’s share of the US$500,000 prize pool.

Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, BetBoom Team, paiN Gaming, Eternal Fire and HEROIC will battle for the first S-Tier trophy of 2025 when the Finals start on Thursday.

VALORANT Champions Tour Kickoff

Each of the four major regions (China, Americas, Europe & Pacific) for the VALORANT Champions Tour Kickoff events will continue during the week, with matches scheduled to be played on each day.

VCT China Kickoff will conclude on Saturday, January 25, when the grand final is held at the VCT CN Arena, which will then provide the first two teams that qualify for the VCT Masters Bangkok tournament.

League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA)

The first week of the inaugural season of the League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA) will kick off on Saturday, when the opening matches of LTA North and LTA South take place.

The four teams that win their way into the upper-bracket and lower-bracket finals will book their place in the Cross Conference tournament, where the eight LoL squads will compete for the region’s First Stand spot.

Best esports betting sites have FlyQuest marked as the +120 favourite to take out the LTA North Split 1, while paiN Gaming is the +180 favourite to claim the LTA South Split 1 title.
