With one victory from the first four weeks of VCT EMEA Stage 2, KOI now face the possibility of missing out on the playoffs for the second stage in a row. Natus Vincere have done slightly better at 2-2, which puts them in the race for a top-three finish.

KOI’s sole victory came last week against Group Omega’s wooden-spoon winners, Apeks, whom they had to reverse-sweep after dropping Lotus. Apeks are out of VCT EMEA playoff contention. They have failed to win a single match this stage, so it comes as no surprise that the best VALORANT betting sites have them as heavy underdogs to take down Fnatic.

The Black & Orange are fresh off a painful 0-2 loss against Team Liquid, who edged out a 14-12 overtime win on Bind and humiliated Fnatic on Ascent with 13-1. After that loss, Fnatic can no longer secure the No.1 seed in the group, but they can also no longer drop below the top three.
