Shopify Rebellion took out Halo Infinite: Kaysan’s Showdown VI on Sunday, securing their first LAN trophy of the 2025 season.
Kaysan’s Showdown VI, co-organised by Halo Studios and FaZe Clan owner Kaysan, was a four-team tournament hosted in Dallas, Texas.
It featured some of the most prominent squads from the Halo esports scene: Shopify Rebellion, OpTic Gaming, FaZe Clan, and 2024 world champions Spacestation Gaming.
That does it – Huge thanks to @kaysan for hosting the $50K Showdown!
@ShopifyRebels: $25,000
@OpTic: $12,000
@Spacestation: $8,000

Despite the stacked lineup, Shopify Rebellion proved to be a class above everyone else, securing their eighth event victory of the year.
However, the road to the top was not as smooth as they might’ve hoped.
They started the event with a 3-0 sweep of Spacestation Gaming, but they were reverse-swept by OpTic Gaming in the upper-bracket final after going 2-0 up in the series.
After the crushing loss, Shopify Rebellion picked themselves up with another 3-0 sweep of Spacestation Gaming in the lower-bracket final and booked a rematch with OpTic in the grand final.
The two squads went back and forth in a seven-map thriller before Preston “CyKul” Sipes and co. closed it out 4-3 on Slayer – Origin with 50-44.
The new-look roster, which came together in December 2024 with the signing of Wyatt “LastShot” Gowan and ex-FaZe duo Bradley “Frosty” Bergstrom and Mathew “Royal2” Fiorante, has been making serious noise in the competitive Halo esports scene.
Since the turn of the year, Shopify Rebellion have won eight out of nine Halo events attended.
Those include four Halo Championship Series (HCS) 2024 Offseason Open events (3-6), HCS 2025 Split 1 NA Open Series 2 and Series 3, and HCS 2025 Arlington Major NA Qualifier.
While not a part of the HCS, Kaysan’s Showdown VI was Shopify Rebellion’s most lucrative victory of the year; they pocketed US$25,000, runners-up OpTic received a $12,000 consolation prize.
Shopify Rebellion will return to action at HCS Arlington Major, set to begin on April 18.
