Passion UA have announced the departure of Eduard “zeRRoFIX” Petrovskyi, who leaves the Ukrainian Counter-Strike 2 team after nearly two years.

The 17-year-old is the third member to wave goodbye to Passion UA this month, after coach Mykhajlo “kane” Blaghin and Vsevolod “s-chilla” Shchurov.

ZeRRoFIX’s exit leaves Nikita “jackasmo” Skyba as the only remaining player of the 2024 lineup that managed to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.

This is the latest of many changes Passion UA have made to their CS2 division after early elimination from the Chinese Major and a lack of tournament titles over the first three months of the 2025 season.

Since the turn of the year, Passion UA have managed just one deep tournament run, reaching the semifinals at YaLLa Compass Winter 2025.

They were also unsuccessful in PGL Bucharest and PGL Astana European qualifiers, with finishing 17th-24th in both.

ZeRRoFIX, who started his professional career with Passion UA in August 2023, leaves the team with a few tournament titles to his name.

However, zeRRoFIX’s most notable achievement was getting his own Major sticker at the end of 2024.

Throughout his 19-month stint with Passion UA, zeRRoFIX has averaged a 0.97 performance rating, going at 0.91 across the four games played at the Major.

With his departure, Passion UA are left with four active players, having recently acquired ex-DRILLAS and Monte player Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletnjuk to fill in the gap left behind by s-chilla.

Who will step in as Passion UA’s fifth player remains to be seen, but more information should become available by the time they kick off Galaxy Battle 2025 // Phase 1 on April 11.
