Overwatch 2 betting preview

Stage 3 of the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 EMEA season kicks off this Saturday with a clash between the league’s top two contenders, Al Qadsiah and Twisted Minds, followed by a meeting between Gen.G Esports and newcomers Team Vision.

The opening round will give Overwatch esports fans their first glimpse of the teams as they begin their quest for a spot in the OWCS World Finals, with the top three at season’s end guaranteed a berth in Stockholm.

Meanwhile, we at eSportBet.com have taken a good look at both fixtures on September 6 and come up with the best OWCS betting picks for each.

AL QADSIAH vs TWISTED MINDS

Al Qadsiah are the top team heading into the final stage of the OWCS 2025 EMEA season. They have kept on getting better since the beginning of the year and have so far placed top two in all events but the Champions Clash, where they finished in seventh-eighth place.

Al Qadsiah also made it to the final of the recently concluded Overwatch Esports World Cup. They beat some top teams along the way, including Twisted Minds in the semis.

Twisted Minds are Al Qadsiah’s main threat for the Stage 3 title and one of the few teams who have managed to take down their regional rivals multiple times this season. While QAD lead in the head-to-head 5-2 over the last seven, the two squads are 1-1 in their last two meetings, with both games going the distance.

Even though the defending OWCS EMEA champions should be favored, the best Overwatch betting sites are too generous in pricing Twisted Minds as such heavy outsiders.

GEN.G ESPORTS vs TEAM VISION

Best Odds: Gen.G -344.83 at BetOnline | VSN +215 at SportsBetting

After a disappointing run through OWCS EMEA Stage 2, Gen.G Esports have made significant roster changes for the final stage of the season.

In come support Robert “Skairipa” Lupsa, tank Alexander “Tred” Madgwick-Smith, and DPS Jamie “Backbone” O’Neill, who had last competed in the OWCS 2024 World Finals. While anything could happen after so many personnel changes at once, Gen.G look a bit more competent ahead of Stage 3.

Team Vision are the league’s newcomers, having cruised through FACEIT League Season 5 and the promotion series. Led by Park “Viol2t” Min-ki, Team Vision are exciting underdogs with a high ceiling.

Gen.G appear stronger on paper, but outside of the big three — Al Qadsiah, Twisted Minds, and Virtus.pro — there is not much to separate other OWCS EMEA teams. At big odds with the top esports betting sites, Team Vision are an excellent outsider pick to start the stage with a win.

Team Vision to win
