David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan officially transferred from Virtus.pro to HOTU on Saturday, November 15, after the two Counter-Strike 2 teams struck a deal.

The 24-year-old joined HOTU on loan on August 31, after spending eight months on Virtus.pro’s bench.
Since his transfer, the Russian player has represented HOTU in seven events, including ESL Pro League Season 22, where HOTU turned heads with their performances.

Despite failing to break into the playoffs, HOTU cruised through Stage 1 with wins against FURIA, B8, and The MongolZ.
To that, they added a 2-1 upset victory against The MongolZ in Stage 2, but could not make it past Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, and Team Vitality, ending the event in 12th-14th place.

N0rb3r7 was HOTU’s best-performing player at the event, with a 1.07 performance rating across nine maps, which includes a 1.40 rating on Train in HOTU’s loss against Natus Vincere.

“After working together in ESL Pro League, we saw first-hand how n0rb3r7’s professional approach transforms the team
atmosphere, said HOTU CEO, Alexander Sivtsev.

“His experience isn’t just a line on a resume, but a real tool that helps every player improve”.

Having proven his worth, n0rb3r7 has now signed a contract with HOTU, officially ending his three and a half year long stint with Virtus.pro, with whom he won IEM Rio Major in 2022.

He, however, hasn’t been on VP’s active lineup since December, when n0rb3r7 was replaced by Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev.
HOTU have no scheduled games in the coming weeks, and have not qualified for the Starladder Budapest Major. However, with several lower-tier events set to unfold across November and December, n0rb3r7 and his crew will soon return to the arena.
