MOUZ have announced the disbandment of their League of Legends team, stepping away from the Riot Games title after 12 years.
MOUZ have not specified the reason for their withdrawal from the LoL esports scene; however, they have stated that they are putting the division on pause, suggesting MOUZ could explore options to return in the future.
Today, we bid farewell to our League of Legends team and announce a pause in our participation in League of Legends after 12 years of competing.
We want to thank our fans & incredible athletes for 12 years of competition under our banner.

By pulling the plug on their LoL team, MOUZ released their entire roster into free agency.
This includes top laner Felix “Fornoreason” Schummel, mid laner Armin “Kaymin” Kaymer, supports Nick “Nio” Kartamyschew, Valentin “Vaunted” Gradow, and Simon “Flay” Menne, ADC Dogukan “Dreilix” Kartop, and head coach Primal.
The news comes after MOUZ waved goodbye to jungler Adrian “Afroboi” Kaymer, who left for E WIE EINFACH at the start of the month.
Even though MOUZ did not give a reason for the closure of the LoL team, the roster is fresh off a disappointing season.
In 2024, MOUZ placed last in Prime League Spring and Summer and ended the Prime League 2025 Promotion Tournament in third place, losing their spot in the competition’s first division.
The squad did not find any traction in the season-ending Prime League Pokal 2024 either, ending the tournament in 9th-16th place after being eliminated from the first round of the playoffs.
Despite their struggles in the Prime League in recent years, MOUZ are a well-established name in the LoL esports scene.
Between 2020-21, MOUZ won two Prime League Winter Cup titles, reached two semifinals at the European Masters, won two Prime League silver medals (Spring 2020 and Spring 2021), and added a domestic title in Summer 2020.
While they have not reached those heights over the last two years, MOUZ will be remebered for fostering many of the top European talents in LoL esports.
Some of the most notable players who competed under MOUZ’s banner include 14-time LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) champion Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Winther, Kacper “Inspired” Słoma, Elias “Upset” Lipp, and Oskar “Vander” Bogdan.
