MOUZ clinched their ticket to the PGL Major Copenhagen after a convincing 2-0 (13-10, 13-11) victory over Team Spirit in the second qualifying match of RMR B.
The series showcased MOUZ’s strategic prowess and individual brilliance, particularly from rising star Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo.
🎉 What a journey for MOUZ in Bucharest! Victorious on every map they faced, and now they're Denmark-bound for the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024!

The Finnish prodigy played a pivotal role in securing victory, notably shining on Mirage alongside Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás and Dorian “xertioN” Berman.
Despite a spirited comeback attempt by Spirit, MOUZ’s resilience and coordinated efforts ultimately sealed the deal, marking Jimpphat’s maiden Counter-Strike Major appearance.
MOUZ’s astute map selection, starting with Vertigo, exploited Spirit’s vulnerabilities, notably Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’ inconsistencies, paving the way for a solid lead.
Although Spirit fought valiantly, MOUZ’s superior teamwork and clutch plays secured them the opening map.
On Mirage, MOUZ showcased impeccable execution of their game plan, quickly recovering from an early deficit to dominate the remainder of the match.
Meanwhile, Cloud9 emerged victorious against Team Vitality 2-1 (13-8, 8-13, 13-5), securing their Major spot in Group B of the RMR.

Led by Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov’s stellar AWP performance, Cloud9 showcased resilience and tactical acumen, particularly evident in their decisive victory on Anubis.
Vitality, despite flashes of brilliance from Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, faltered on key maps due to tactical shortcomings and individual inconsistencies.
Nonetheless, with further opportunities to secure their Major berth, Vitality remains a formidable contender in the tournament.
Unfortunately, while Cloud9 and MOUZ earned qualification to the first CS2 Major, the dream is now over for Nexus and Pera, as the lowest-ranked teams were eliminated from the RMR after three losses.
