The Pole’s exit breaks up a partnership that dates back to the formation of Upper Moon in 2023.
Gaimin Gladiators have only two players left on their Apex Legends roster following the departure of Jan “Lufka” Urban.
By leaving Gaimin Gladiators, the Pole ends a long-running partnership with Jamie “Blasts” Levine and Paweł “lighT” Haratyk that dates back to September 2023.
Since forming Upper Moon nearly two years ago, the trio have also played for Electrify Steel Gaming and OMiT before joining Gaimin Gladiators in May 2024.
Lufka confirmed his departure in a post on X, announcing he is looking for a new team.
The abrupt roster change follows a rocky start to the year for Gaimin Gladiators, who placed 20th in the ALGS 2024 Championship and 37th at the ALGS 2025 Open.
Despite failing to accomplish much this year, Lufka helped the team to several notable tournament runs last year.
Those include third place at ALGS 2024 Split 2 Pro League EMEA, fourth at the Esports World Cup, and a runner-up finish in the ALGS 2025 Split 2 Playoffs.
Gaimin Gladiators have yet to reveal who will fill in the gap left behind by Lufka, but they do not have long to find a replacement.
The team’s next competitive endeavour is set for May 24, when they will play their first round of ALGS 2025 Split 1 Pro League EMEA.
