CS2 news

On Monday, December 29, FRAG announced Frag 20, a new LAN hybrid Counter-Strike 2 tournament, set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, in April.

Named Frag 20, the CS2 tournament will mark the third competition held by the North American tournament organizer of 2026, and the most ambitious one yet.

Frag 20, scheduled to take place on April 25-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will offer a tiered prize pool reaching US$50,000 in case all 64 open slots are filled.

It is the first-ever open/invite tournament organized by Frag, with eight North American teams receiving a bye to the second stage.

Meanwhile, first phase will consist of 56 teams.

As confirmed, Frag will use February’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS) ranking to determine the right direct invites.

Meanwhile, April’s rankings will be used for seeding.

The first phase will be an open stage, with sign-ups opening on January 5.

This format ensures that the highest level of play is represented on the main stage while lowering the barrier to entry for teams across North America to compete for the lion’s share of the biggest prize pool in Fragadelphia’s history.

Frag 20 is the third FRAG-organized event of 2026, succeeding FRAG Miami 2 and FRAG York, scheduled for January 2-4 and March 27-29, respectively.

Set to take place in April, Frag 20 will share the spotlight with other major CS2 tournaments hosted that month, including PGL Bucharest, Intel Extreme Masters Rio, BLAST Rivals Season 1, and FISSURE Playground 3.
