Gen.G has advanced through to the Playoffs at LoL Worlds with a minimum of fuss after entering the event as a raging favourite with betting sites.

The League of Legends World Championship 2025 Swiss Stage concluded on Saturday, October 25, setting the stage for the eight-team playoffs, which will feature all four Korean teams.
The final draw of LoL Worlds 2025 took place following the conclusion of Swiss Stage Round 5, which did not offer many big surprises.
CTBC Flying Oyster and T1 justified their tags as favorites, while Top Esports got their revenge against their regional rivals, Bilibili Gaming, and secured a spot in the knockouts.
With the final three Swiss Stage winners crowned, the remaining eight teams have been drawn into a single-elimination bracket.
The list of LoL Worlds 2025 participants includes all four teams from LoL Champions Korea (LCK), two from the LoL Pro League (LPL), and one from the European and the Pacific region.
The LoL Champions of The Americas (LTA) is the only league to not have a representative in the final battle for the Summoner’s Cup.
The final draw paired the defending champions T1 with LPL’s hottest team, Anyone’s Legend, while G2 Esports will face off against China’s No.2 seed, Top Esports.
On the other side of the bracket, we will see the LCK Playoff finals rematch between Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G Esports, while CTBC Flying Oyster clash with KT Rolster.
For T1, the draw has put them in an excellent position to reach the grand final. However, their journey begins with a challenging task: defeating AL, who seem to be the only Chinese team to come to LoL Worlds with the tools to go all the way.
Europe’s final hope, G2 Esports, can be happy with the draw too, as they will take on Top Esports, who have been widely inconsistent this tournament.
Hanwha Life Esports will hope they can overcome Gen.G, who they’ve beaten just once this season, in the LCK Cup finals. In contrast, the best LoL betting sites have the clash between KT Rolster and CTBC Flying Oyster priced as a close contest, and a proper test of quality for both teams.
The LoL Worlds 2025 quarterfinals have been set, with Gen.G shortening further into -125 in their quest to win the Summoners Cup.
The four quarterfinals will be played over four days, with matches starting at 2pm CST time from October 28 to October 31.
