EVOS Divine clinched the Free Fire Esports World Cup title in Riyadh, earning $300,000 and breaking peak viewership records ahead of the Global Finals.

The Esports World Cup 2025 Free Fire tournament wrapped up on July 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, breaking multiple esports records and cementing its place as the year’s standout mobile gaming event.
Indonesian powerhouse EVOS Divine claimed the title, earning US$300,000 in prize money, 1,000 Club Points, and a direct invite to the prestigious Free Fire Global Series Finals in Jakarta, Indonesia, scheduled for October 31 to November 15.
This year’s Free Fire event achieved an 18% boost in peak viewers, hitting 550,000 concurrent viewers, up from 450,000 during last year’s inaugural edition.
Across 20 hours of broadcast, the tournament logged over 5.9 million hours watched and maintained an impressive 292,109 average viewers, far outperforming other 2025 Free Fire events.
Viewership surged particularly across Asia and Latin America, with Indonesia dominating the grand finals and Bangladesh setting a new Bengali-language record of 206,239 concurrent viewers during the knockout stage.
The competition saw 18 top teams battle for a share of the $1 million prize pool.
EVOS Divine secured the championship with 170 points and 96 eliminations, led by Rasyah “Rasyah” Rasyid, who earned the MVP award and an additional $10,000 bonus.
RRQ Kazu finished second with 123 points, taking home $180,000, while Team Vitality placed third with 120 points and $120,000.
Other notable teams included LOS, AG.AL, and Team Falcons, who rounded out the top six.
Despite their last-place finish, Bangladesh’s Red Hawks sparked significant regional interest, contributing to the tournament’s record-setting Bengali peak.
The short, high-intensity format and million-dollar stakes helped generate massive hype, solidifying EWC 2025 as the top-performing Free Fire event of the year so far.
The tournament also marked a milestone for Indonesian esports, with EVOS Divine, RRQ Kazu, and Vitality filling all three podium spots.
Attention now shifts to the next phases of the 2025 Esports World Cup, which continues with the likes of the MLBB Mid Season Cup and PUBG Mobile being played over Week 3 of the event.
