The third week of the 2025 Esports World Cup kicked off on Tuesday, with StarCraft II getting clear air in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The StarCraft II EWC event featured the Play-In Stage and the first four Group Stage series in Groups A and B.

After running through the upper and lower brackets of the Play-In Stage at the StarCraft II Esports World Cup, Byun “ByuN” Hyun-woo and Gabriel Raffaele “HeRoMaRinE” Segat advanced to the Group Stage.
However, the two did not find the same success in their opening Group Stage matches against reigning champion Clément “Clem” Desplanches and 2024 EWC runner-up Joona “Serral” Sotala, with each of them losing 0-2.

Although the StarCraft II EWC continues on Wednesday, the Honor of Kings World Cup and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Esports World Cup action will return.
The playoffs of the HoK World Cup will take place on Wednesday, while the first four Group A series of the MLBB EWC Group Stage will also feature on the second day of week three.
