Esports World Cup confirms 20 games for 2026

The Esports World Cup has unveiled 20 esports games that will feature on the competitive calendar in 2026, with some notable absences.

The Saudi-backed festival returns in 2026, promising a wide array of genres, attracting the world’s top organizations who will battle for a share of a multi-million-dollar prize pool.

In the announcement on Wednesday, the Esports World Cup unveiled 20 of the 24 games that will be featured in 2026, which include the return of some of the world’s most popular esports titles.

Confirmed on the schedule are Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT, as three of the most noteworthy games. Chess, which debuted in 2025, is also set to appear on our screens, as are CrossFire and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

On the other hand, there are some notable absences from the first list, including a sim racing game, Rennsport, StarCraft II, and Rocket League.

The Esports World Cup 2026 is scheduled to take place from July 6 to August 23 and will be joined by a new multi-game, country-based esports tournament, the Esports Nations Cup.

The expanded series from the EWC will feature at least 15 events; however, besides the dates and location, no information about the ENC has yet been revealed.

Esports betting sites are also yet to launch any odds surrounding the 2026 EWC event, with these usually released closer to the event.
