Complexity Gaming got off to a flying start in the ESL Pro League with clean sweeps of Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas, so it is little wonder some CS:GO betting sites have them as outright favourites for the title. Team Spirit, meanwhile, went down 1-2 to Fnatic in a close series and managed to take down Team Vitality 2-1 on Sunday.

Spirit have demonstrated they are not as bad as some people think they are. While the Russians have mostly played against second-tier opponents this year, their results in the opening week of the ESL Pro League proved Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov and co. can go toe-to-toe with Europe’s finest.

The odds suggest Spirit will struggle against Complexity, but we believe the underdogs have a realistic chance to win this bout. While Complexity’s recent wins are impressive on paper, we have to consider that Astralis are not playing with their full roster and NiP haven’t been good for a while – especially in the online era of CS:GO.

In the worst-case scenario, Spirit win at least one map and force the series to go the distance, which is why we will play it safe and bet on overs.

NINJAS IN PYJAMAS VS MOUSESPORTS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

As mentioned above, the Ninjas in Pyjamas have struggled since CS:GO esports events moved to online play earlier this year. They lost to Team Vitality (1-2) in their opening game of the ESL Pro League and three days later had to admit defeat to Complexity (0-2).

Mousesports enjoyed quite the opposite experience in the opening week of play, as they managed a clean 2-0 win against FaZe Clan and a narrow yet well-deserved 2-1 win over Fnatic. However, mouz are not as stable as they may seem from the outside.

Just a week after they benched Özgür “woxic” Eker, mousesports also parted ways with head coach Allan “Rejin” Petersen, who was suspended due to exploitation of the coach spectator bug. Those changes have hurt both the quality of the squad and the morale within the team.

This match seems like it could go either way. While betting on the underdogs might seem appealing, the over 2.5 maps that makes much more sense.

TEAM VITALITY vs ASTRALIS CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

While Team Vitality are well established in the CS:GO esports world, they have been playing very poorly of late. The quality is still there, but the individual performances are just not up to par with expectations. That is especially true for the team’s main carry, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut.

Astralis don’t deserve any special kind of praise for their performances this year, although they have been playing with an incomplete roster for several months now. Having said that, their star in-game leader, Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander, recently returned to the team after a four-month break, which is a massive boost for the Danish squad.

Even though Astralis are not nearly as good as they were in 2019, the tactical prowess gla1ve brings should be more than enough for them to defeat the shaky Vitality, who are not living up to their name as the no.1 team in the world.
