Miami Heretics enter the second week of the CDL Major 1 Qualifiers with a perfect record after sweeping Carolina Royal Ravens last Saturday. It was a clean game from the Heretics, but it’s tough to take much from that fixture — nor is it fair to assume that performance will translate against stronger teams.
Minnesota RØKKR started the season with a map five defeat against Las Vegas Legion and then lost 1-3 against OpTic Texas. The RØKKR didn’t play poorly, and it wouldn’t be fair to say they are terrible in any of the game modes, but Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi and co. aren’t great in any of the modes either.
Both teams are in a decent spot to qualify for the Major, but considering their schedules, they will both want to win on Saturday. This should bring out the best of both squads, but it is tough to say which of the two will come out ahead.

Atlanta FaZe entered the 2024 season as outright CDL Championship favourites with most Call of Duty betting sites, and they have yet to give us a reason to doubt them. With two victories under their belt, FaZe should be confident they can finish the weekend with four wins, but this one won’t come easy.
Even though FaZe deserve to be higher up the Call of Duty League power rankings than the Seattle Surge, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson and his crew are not to be underestimated. With four-map victories against the Los Angeles Thieves and Boston Breach, the Surge look ready to take on a stronger opponent.
As long as they can shut down Chris “Simp” Lehr, Seattle should be able to do some damage on Saturday.

Carolina Royal Ravens were slammed by Miami Heretics on Saturday and were 0-2 down against Las Vegas Legion, but they rallied to end the opening week 1-1. The Royal Ravens looked iffy in both games, and the players showed little to no consistency with their performances.
Toronto Ultra only played one game last weekend, beating the Los Angeles Guerrillas 3-1. It was a good showing from the CDL Championship 2023 finalists; however, there is not a lot of data to go off when evaluating how good the Ultra are.
Carolina Royal Ravens have a lot of things to work on, but considering Tornoto Ultra dropped a map against the Guerrillas, there is a good chance we will see at least four maps in this clash.
