The Call of Duty League Stage 1 Major Qualifiers resume on Friday, January 9, with two fixtures in the first round of Week 3.
The teams will re-enter the arena after a one-month break, during which some have made roster adjustments. The added time to practice and reshuffled lineups add a pinch of excitement to the upcoming clashes as Riyadh Falcons take on G2 Minnesota and Miami Heretics face Carolina Royal Ravens.
Here are our free Call of Duty betting predictions and expert tips for Friday’s affairs, with odds courtesy of the best CoD bookmakers.

G2 Minnesota looked promising in the pre-season, but they failed to show much across the first two weeks of CDL Stage 1. They edged past Cloud9 New York 3-2 in the opening match but struggled since, losing to OpTic Texas 1-3 and Boston Breach 2-3.
Like G2 Minnesota, Riyadh Falcons had a slow start to the season. They lost to OpTic Texas and Los Angeles Thieves in the first week, but picked themselves up in the second week with wins against Carolina Royal Ravens and Boston Breach.
Both teams have similar map pools, so a closer match is expected. While the Falcons looked better before the break and deserve to be priced as favorites on the top CoD betting sites, G2 Minnesota have a lot more to show and can keep it close.

Miami are 1-2 heading into the third week of CDL Major 1 Qualifiers, so they need this win to have a shot at securing a top seed for the knockout stage. They are the better team, as reflected in the odds, so they should feel confident about their chances to come out ahead.
The Carolina Royal Ravens have made some roster changes. Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat announced his retirement on Tuesday and is getting replaced by Kaden “Exceed” Stockdale. Even though Exceed is a solid player, the Royal Ravens have not had much practice with the new addition, which is a significant handicap.
Miami Heretics were the better team even before SlasheR’s departure. The Carolina Royal Ravens struggled against Riyadh Falcons and Boston Breach and should not present a tough challenge for the Heretics.
