BOOM Esports have signed two academy prospects as they prepare to fight for VALORANT Champions Tour survival.

BOOM Esports have announced the arrival of Rex Regum Qeon academy graduate Jonathan “naTz” Adiputra and Team Secret prospect Michael Andre “Whitecat” M. Yuzon, who joined the Indonesian VALORANT team on Monday, September 29.
The move comes ahead of VCT Ascension Pacific 2025, where the squad will fight to retain a top-flight spot on the VALORANT Champions Tour.
NaTz joins BOOM Esports after spending one season with RRQ Academy, with whom he placed seventh-eighth in Challengers Southeast Asia Split 1, fifth in Split 2, and ninth-10th in Split 3.
Despite the team’s lackluster results, the 24-year-old was called up to the main Rex Regum Qeon lineup at the start of August.
However, naTz has not had a chance to feature in a single game and was omitted from the squad that went to Paris for VALORANT Champions 2025.
Whitecat played just five official games for Secret Academy, on Neon (4), Jett (3), and Waylay (2), with two wins and three losses.
There is no confirmation yet regarding who the two new arrivals will replace.
Despite being relegated from VCT Pacific, BOOM Esports managed a top-eight finish in championship points, thus meeting the criteria to attend Ascension and fight for the right to reclaim their place.
Set to kick off on October 14, VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 will feature 10 VALORANT teams from Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, South Asia, and Oceania.
The best VALORANT betting sites have priced BOOM Esports as second favorites to win the event at +275, behind Nongshim RedForce (+175) and ahead of RIDDLE (+450).
