Imperial Esports are the second-lowest-ranked team at BLAST Open Spring 2025 and one of the main candidates to win the wooden spoon. G2 Esports, on the other hand, are ranked No.7 in the world, but with their recent form, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and co. are not expected to compete for the trophy.
G2 Esports had a solid start to the year, with a semifinal run at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025. Since then, they’ve crashed out of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 in 9th-12th and ESL Pro League Season 21 in fifth-eighth place.
Across the two tournaments, G2 proved somewhat toothless against other top contenders, with losses against MOUZ, Natus Vincere, The MongolZ, FaZe Clan, Virtus.pro, and Eternal Fire. On a more positive note, they dominated when faced with weaker teams — namely GamerLegion, SAW, paiN Gaming, and BetBoom Team.
There is little to suggest Imperial Esports have a realistic chance to win this. The Brazilians are in good shape with 13 wins over a 15-game stretch, yet those include only victories against regional opponents. Anything less than a 2-0 sweep will be an unacceptable result for G2 Esports.

Eternal Fire and Team Liquid last met just over a week ago in the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 21, when Team Liquid won 2-0. It was a competitive game which could’ve gone either way, ending with 13-11 on Inferno and 19-17 on Train.
Both teams reached the playoffs but were eliminated in the quarterfinals — Eternal Fire by Team Spirit, and Team Liquid by Team Vitality. Despite losing the last clash, the Turkish outfit are favoured for this game, as they have accomplished more this season and nearly defeated Spirit in Sweden.
This, however, does not change the fact that Team Liquid have been playing better of late and look ready to keep their wheels spinning. At plus money, Liquid are worth a look.

THE MONGOLZ vs M80 CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

The MongolZ have picked up where they left off in 2024, reaching the semifinals of both Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 and ESL Pro League Season 21. Their run at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 was cut short in the quarterfinals by Astralis, but it was not a bad tournament from the Mongolian side.
M80 placed second at ICE Invitational 2025 and won Ace North American Masters Spring 2025 in February. They have not been as successful in bigger events, however — namely ESL Pro League Season 21, where they got eliminated from Stage 1 with losses against SAW, 3DMAX, and FURIA.
There is little to suggest M80 can defeat The MongolZ, who have established themselves as one of the top 10 CS2 teams in the world. While they have struggled against elite squads, MongolZ are very effective in running over lower-rated teams.

NATUS VINCERE vs FURIA ESPORTS CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

FURIA should be doing well in bigger events, yet they have done nothing but disappoint this season. With early exits from BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 (9th-16th), IEM Katowice (13th-16th), and ESL Pro League Season 21 (12th-14th), FURIA do not appear to be a serious threat at BLAST Open Spring 2025.
It is fair to doubt NaVi’s chances, too, as they have been inconsistent over the last month — especially at ESL Pro League Season 21. But even though Natus Vincere are not playing at 100%, they defeated FURIA 2-0 in Poland and have recently picked up notable wins against TYLOO, paiN Gaming, and G2 Esports.
Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and co. have a lot more to prove, but considering FURIA’s recent displays, it is easy to believe this is a 2-0 sweep in the making.
