Team Vitality and FaZe Clan will face off on Monday, September 1, in the Group A upper bracket final of the BLAST Open Fall 2025 Closed Qualifiers. It will be their second meeting of the season.

Vitality won the last clash during Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025 in a very close three-map series. Since then, Vitality have emerged as the most dominant Counter-Strike 2 team of the season, while FaZe Clan have made a couple of roster changes.

More recently, FaZe signed Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski, who made his debut in FaZe’s 2-1 victory against ECSTATIC in the first round.

It was not the most convincing display from FaZe Clan and jcobbb, who posted a subpar 0.81 performance rating. However, we saw a much more polished performance from FaZe and the Polish player (1.22) in the 2-0 sweep of Natus Vincere on Friday.

Vitality’s iffy performances on those two maps should not present an advantage for FaZe Clan, who are 0-3 on Overpass and have a 43% win rate on Inferno. Still, considering how shaky Vitality have been, it is not unlikely for FaZe to do some damage.
