BC.Game Esports split with coach Luka “emi” Vuković as his trial deal ends after five months and 12 events, amid limited results and a recent exit of IGL nexa.

BC.Game Esports announced the departure of Luka “emi” Vuković on Sunday, December 19, following the expiration of the Counter-Strike 2 coach’s contract.
Emi joined BC.Game Esports in July as a trial coach, replacing Benjamin “cube” Stabell.
At the time, BC.Game rebuilt their lineup, adding Andreas “aNdu” Maasing, Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski, and Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. However, despite all the additions, BC.Game have not found much success under emi’s leadership.
During his five-month stint with BC.Game, emi has attended 12 events and won just one – ESL Challenger League Season 50 Europe Cup #2 in September.
The team’s only LAN event, the JOURNEY 2025, ended with a ninth-12th-place finish.
“As the trial contract came to an end, I decided it’s the best for myself and the team to move on in a different direction,” said emi in an X post.
BC.Game’s lack of success not only led to the departure of emi, but also in-game leader Nemanja “nexa” Isaković, who was let go on Saturday.
The duo reunited on BC.Game after emi coached nexa on CR4ZY. The Balkan roster turned many heads in 2019, when they qualified for the StarLadder Berlin Major, before the team disbanded following nexa’s and Nemanja “hunter-” Kovač’s departure to G2 Esports.
Despite their achievements at CR4ZY, their success at BC.Game was limited to just three top-four finishes in B-Tier online tournaments.
With emi’s departure, BC.Game field only four active members in CacaNito, aNdu, s1mple, and Denis “electroNic” Sharipov.
Currently ranked No.86 in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), the team enter the winter break with two voids to fill, although rumors state s1mple’s contract is set to expire at the end of the year, which would increase that number to three.
