A big week of esports kicks off on Monday, June 30, 2025, with League of Legends set to be the highlight in Vancouver, Canada.

The LoL Mid-Season Invitational will be in full focus in the esports world throughout the week, with very little going on ahead of the Esports World Cup kicking off on July 7.

Following the conclusion of the Play-In Stage, the Bracket Stage will kick off on Tuesday, July 1, where the eight directly invited teams will begin their MSI campaigns.

League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2025

The second international League of Legends event of 2025 kicked off on June 27 and runs through July 12 in Vancouver, Canada, where the top 10 teams from across the globe will compete for a massive US$2 million prize pool.

With the Play-In Stage in the rearview mirror, the Bracket Stage will kick off on Tuesday, where each of the eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket.

Looking ahead to the Esports World Cup

The 2025 Esports World Cup will begin on Monday, July 7; however, the first events will kick off on Tuesday, July 8, with the VALORANT Esports World Cup highlighting the opening week of action.

Running from July 7 all the way through August 24, 21 tournaments will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with huge prize pools up for grabs, totalling up to US$70 million overall.

With top titles such as VALORANT, League of Legends, Dota 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Apex Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, PUBG and many more featuring at the EWC, spectators will have plenty of esports to view across the seven weeks.
